Bob's Your Uncle (1989 - 1991)
INDEX CURRENT WORK SAMPLES HISTORY EQUIPMENT

This band was just plain fun. Not prog rock at all. As it is virtually impossible to gig playing prog rock music, and very easy giggin with Beatles covers, I joined this band. We played, among other other things a dramatic version of Dear Prudence, Rain and And Your Bird Can Sing - some of my favourite songs from the Beatles psychedelic period. Then we covered Led Zeppelins Whole Lotta Love (complete with screaming and violin bow), Stairway (I had to play it on the double-neck guitar!), The Song Remains The Same, and all the other standards by Deep Purple, The Who... you name 'em!

Let it scream, Jimi!

We also threw in a few of our own songs in the set list, with names such as Carrie, Country Cabin Instrumental, Intro instrumental, Frosty Days and When I see You. These were songs that would go along well with the rest of the non-prog material. We rehearsed some more of our own songs, but they have never been taped.
