The Ensoniq TS-12 digital synthesizer.
A truly versatile digital synthesizer/workstation.
Buying an Ensoniq TS-12 workstation arose from a real need to have a
MIDI-capable keyboard with enough keys and a good action for better recording
and performance.
But it turned out that the TS-12 was an unexpectedly interesting synth that is
capable of a number of novel things.
It has a sample playback option, HyperWaves (which is a list of sounds that
can be looped), TransWaves (a very interesting sample based synthesis
technique, similar to that used in Korg Wavestation and Waldorf Wave), a great effects unit and a built in sequencer.
I am really more of an analog synth fan, but the if it had to be digital, it might as well be the TS-12.
Features:

- ROM based synthesis
